Getting Started with Postflo
Welcome to Postflo. This guide walks you through setting up your account and submitting your first episode for AI-powered post-production.
What You Need Before Starting
- A YouTube video URL for your podcast or show episode
- Basic information about your show (name, host, category, description)
- 5-10 minutes to complete your setup
Step 1: Create Your Account
Sign up for Postflo with your email address. You'll start on a trial plan that includes a limited number of episodes for processing.
Step 2: Complete Your Show Profile
Your Show Profile is required before you can submit episodes. Postflo Intelligence uses this information to personalize all outputs for your show.
Fill in these required fields:
- Show Name: The title of your podcast or YouTube show
- Host Name: Your name or the primary host's name
- Category: Select the category that best fits your content
- Show Description: A brief overview of what your show covers
Save your Show Profile once complete. You can update these details anytime from your account settings.
Step 3: Set Your AI Preferences
AI Preferences are 12 configurable fields that control how Postflo Intelligence generates content for your show. These preferences work alongside your Show Profile to create personalized outputs.
Key preferences to configure:
- Output Language: Choose from English, Hindi, Telugu, or Tamil
- Content Style: Set the tone and approach for your generated content
- Target Audience: Define who your content is created for
- Brand Guidelines: Include any specific requirements for your outputs
You can adjust these preferences anytime. Changes will apply to all future episode submissions.
Step 4: Submit Your First Episode
Once your Show Profile is complete, you can submit episodes for processing.
- Go to the episode submission page
- Paste your YouTube video URL in the provided field
- Click Submit
Postflo will extract the audio, generate a transcript, and begin processing your content using Postflo Intelligence.
What Postflo Generates for You
After processing completes, you'll receive these outputs:
- Show Notes: Detailed episode summary with key points and timestamps
- Video Titles: Multiple title options optimized for your platform
- Descriptions: Complete episode descriptions ready for publishing
- Social Media Captions: Content formatted for different social platforms
- Clip Suggestions: Recommended segments for creating short-form content
- Thumbnail Text: Text overlays optimized for video thumbnails
- SEO Metadata: Tags and keywords to improve discoverability
Accessing Your Outputs
All generated content appears in your Postflo dashboard once processing is complete. You can:
- Copy any output directly to your clipboard
- Download outputs in various formats
- Regenerate specific outputs if needed
- View processing history for all your episodes
Understanding Your Trial Plan
Your trial plan includes a specific number of episodes. You can see your remaining quota in your account dashboard. When you're ready for more episodes, upgrade to a paid plan for higher monthly limits.
Language Support
Postflo supports content generation in four languages: English, Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil. Set your preferred output language in AI Preferences, and all generated content will be delivered in that language.
